Meeting was called to order at 9:30 am ET . Participants introduced themselves, and attendance taken.

The agenda was accepted as proposed, and the IEEE Patent Policy was reviewed using the authorized slide set.

Development of draft

TOPICS DISCUSSED

Composition/decomposition of complex and/or large systems under review.

Two bases were cited for talking about system components (even if those components are systems):

1. reduced burden for meeting standard

2. putting greater security controls against more critical system components
